local-37: between AM and PM

Local-37 is a nomad design studio from where I (Vanessa Enriquez) have been designing since 2003. The name was inspired by the well known phrase "think global, act local" which I'd rather change to "think+feel global, act local". Furthermore, a word that was intelligible in Spanish, English and French, the three languages I'm 100% fluent in, reinforced the nomadic nature of my practice and its conceptual approach.
The number 37 was chosen intuitively - being the number of my house in Mexico City. As the years have passed however, I have been pleasantly surprised to discover a few associated meanings of the number.
AM showcases a selection of projects developed in Mexico, New York and more recently, Berlin, for a variety of clients ranging from artists and architects to business consultants.
PM in the other hand presents self-initiated projects that usually happen late at night.
